0 0 0 Rural women lag behind their male counterpart in accessing support services that will improve their economic situation as well as control over productive resources. One of the activities that PKKK initiated is the dialogue with International Rice Research Institute, where rural women raised the need to improve further their knowledge on maintaining seed banking at the community level, access to appropriate farming technologies such as legume (cowpea and mungbean), rice intercropping, and organic farming technologies for sustainable agriculture.
